PMA BEAUTY WORKSHOPS | 1:1 classes for all skill levels! {order online}
The single most asked question I get from brides is “Can I take you home with me?”… Well, yes you can!
Since I am very busy during wedding season, I decided to
focus this holiday season on giving back to my past and current clients by
creating a series of 1:1 DIY workshops.
I absolutely love teaching and I believe that every woman
can learn how to be their own makeup artist and beauty guru. Learn a few simple
techniques that will have you look your absolute, most confident best!
Glam Yourself Up!
Going to a night out with your love or a Valentine's Day party? Get your glam on and learn to get your makeup ready for any
special occasion. Play with shimmery color, smokey eyes,
and false lashes. The perfect Valentine's gift for a special girl!
Beauty Workshops take approximately two hours, broken down in three sections:
- 30 min - consultation in regards to your specific makeup
needs.
- 1 hr - hands on, one-on-one class of application
techniques.
- 30 min - class review and printed booklet of every step
(with pictures of you doing each step).
- A list of recommended products.
Make Yourself Up!
You can't have professional makeup
every day, but you can upgrade your daily look with professional makeup
techniques. Work with and not against your skin type and facial features.
Integrate this into your daily routine and get this natural and flawless look
in only 10 to 15 minutes!

Do Yourself Up!
Lose the
ponytail and learn how to create fun and easy hairstyles. Try out sassy
updos and glamorous sexy hairstyles with basic hair tools and products. You can
bring photos of your favorite celebrity styles for inspiration.

WPPI 2012 | Makeup Artistry for Photo Shoots + Workshops
Every year I attend the WPPI Wedding Photography Conference in Las Vegas (this is my 5th year!). It is the best place to meet and work with great photographer from around the world. Last year I had the privilege to work with New York based photographer Mel Barlow of Mel Barlow & Company and Los Angeles based photographer Ray Soemarsono of Apertura during their photo shoots in Las Vegas. The shoots were incredible fun and we collaborated splendidly to make sure we got incredible images. This year I'm extending my hair, makeup & wardrobe styling services to all photographers at WPPI. Please email me at info@pmastyle.com for more info or to schedule hair and makeup for your photo shoot, workshop, or project. I look forward to seeing all my friends and meeting new ones!
xoxo,
Maria

A PMA favorite! Add a touch of illumination with Aveda's lighter-than-air powder, infused with skin-loving, reflective minerals. Silky on skin, and kind to complexion: it sets makeup while reducing excess shine and the appearance of fine lines and pores.

- increases radiance by up to 22% upon application
- talc-free; non-acnegenic
- packaged in a polyethylene (PET) jar and a 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) carton

Q&A with PMA | Where do you get inspiration?
During my recent destination wedding I had sometime to start a new project to answer some of the questions I get from clients and fellow makeup artists. I wanted to do this quick and simple so I took my iPhone to shoot and edit this short clip... Enjoy!
Keeping it real...
xoxo,
Maria
